Very solid, and weighty. These things are not lightweight. Those bases are quite heavy and have no issues keeping these upright in any breeze you could be out in. The rubber smell at first will fade in about 3 days or so. Very good purchase.

They have a strong rubber aroma. I'm sure it eventually goes away but other than that they worked well.

While I can’t report on longterm wear, these candlesticks are construction site quality.

I used these with caution tape as a barricade where I was working on an exterior storefront. They are very sturdy and weighted down well so they will not blow over or tip over easily. The main issue I had as others have mentioned is the awful chemical/rubber smell that comes from the black bases. I tried washing them, airing them out in the sunlight but they just stink. The smell is nauseating and doesn’t seem to ever wear off. Mine have been stored outside for over a month and still smell badly .

We use these to teach our kids parallel parking and they work great. high enough for them to see easily. they have a weighted bottom so they don't move.

Light weight to move, but yet heavy enough not to get knocked down during a storm.

I’m practicing for the Ohio maneuverability test as I am finally going for my driver’s license. I purchased these to help me practice. They do have a strong rubber smell and I did see the warning not to use these in an enclosed space. Unfortunately, I live in an efficiency apartment so I have no choice but to stow them in an enclosed space. The smell did give me a headache but after two days of keeping them in my apartment I hardly noticed the smell anymore.It is a bit cumbersome dragging them across the street everyday to practice. They’re also not cheap considering once I get my license I’m not really going to have a use for them. But, they’re sturdy and tall enough that I can see them when I glance out window. This should help me get better at using the mirrors.
