This is a fantastic book. Full of inspiration. Jennifer Cloustons way of working is unique. The book gives confidence to experiment and be yourself. The pictures are wonderful and plenty of stitch variations. If like me you are wanting to get away from the traditional way of working embroidery and free up your mind this book is a must.

I waited to use this book before giving a review. It goes without saying it is a beautifully designed and photographed book but the content exceeds expectations. You can choose a basic frame for your piece then add (step by step) various components to make the most beautiful flower embroidery projects and Jennifer guides you through each step. Suitable for beginners and experienced stitchers, the stitches are included at the back so no need to worry and Jennifer shows you how to design your own composition. It is full of inspiration . Highly recommend.

This book contains so much inspiration and creative ideas, beautifully illustrated and lots of clear instructions ,Suitable for any one wishing to learn how to begin and develop creative stitching. Jennifer’s new book is a sheer delight. I couldn’t put the book down. Now to stitch!

I'm fairly new to freeform embroidery, and this book makes it easy to produce really beautiful embroideries by taking you step by step adding the different stages as you go. The photography isexcellent and the stitches are easy to follow. There are some lovely examples of stitched pieces in the book. I really like the instructions of how to make a simple stitch book, something I've been meaning to do for ages. I have two of the author's other books, and they just keep getting better! I will treasure this book, it's amazing!
