You need to be aware....
... that this is not a complete, ready to go humidor. For what it is, one of the lowest cost thermo-electric humidors on Amazon, it is 5 stars. I have been running mine for almost 2 months, and it has been excellent. It did not have a strong plastic / chemical smell when I unboxed it, like other manufacturers. It keeps its temperature to within .4°F (it does seem to daily go through a brief warming cycle of about 10 mins once a day, prob for maint, and rises about 1.5°F and then quickly gets back to normal). It looks good and, stores a fair amount of cigars, though I would say plan on no more than 250-270 robusto - toro sized as max. What you need to know about this humidor, if you are not an experienced humidor / cigar person is:- You MUST buy 2-way humidification system for your humidor, either a couple of Boveda 320g packs or some two-way bead tubes like RH shield. Do NOT use the provided water tray, it will cause your cigars to develop mold.- You will not be able to use this humidor (or any humidor for that matter) to store cigars, out of the box. The wood inside will need to be seasoned for at least a week (if you live in a high humidity climate) to a month (if you live in a dry climate). Just throw your humidification in there with the power on and temp set and forget about it for a couple of weeks until the humidity stabilizes.- You will need to purchase a hygrometer / thermometer that you can read remotely. The door has a mirror finish UV filter on it and even with the light on, you cannot read the included hygrometer through the door. You do not want to be constantly opening the door to take readings, as it takes about an hour for the humidity to stabilize after. Govee and others make good units for this purpose.- Make sure you calibrate your hygrometer(s) and thermometer before relying on them. Google is your friend here. While the thermostat on this device is precise, it is not always accurate. Mine (as mentioned before) holds temp to within 1/2°, but to get 65°F I have to set it to 67°F on the unit display - precise, but not accurate. Also, remember, relative humidity is RELATIVE to temperature, that means, if the temp goes up the humidity reading goes down, and vice versa. Make sure to calibrate at the temp you plan on keeping things at - it will make your readings more accurate.- If you are have a lot of non boxed cigars, plan on buying more drawers for the unit. The shelves have a lip at the back, but the sides are flat and your cigars will roll off the shelf if you pull it out. Alternatively, buy some good ribbon and bundle the cigars like they do in the factory.- the cooling tech in this unit will NOT work outside of the recommended temp ranges...because physics...so that means you need to keep it in your house, not the garage or the basement.- the display is bright, so if you are going to put it somewhere near where you sit or sleep, plan on buying some alarm clock dimming cling film (you can find it here on Amazon, cut to size and smooth over the display, very easy.- this is a near air-tight container. If you are familiar with tupperdors or coolerdors - you humidification targets will be near identical with this device. For the uninitiated, this means, decide what temp / humidity levels you want to keep your cigars at (65°F/65-68%Rh is a good place to start) and buy the pack or beads below that. So, 70% beads/packs will stabilize around 72-73% in a sealed container (65% - 67-68%, 62% - 64-65%, 60% - 62-63%, etc)For the price, you are getting a quiet, reliable humidor for much less (even after buying what I have recommended above) than ready to go units - they start at $800 and go to $3000 for the bigger ones. One last note, consider buying the heating/cooling model, even if you don't live in a cold climate. By having a heating unit in it, the device has better ability to keep the temp as close to the temp you set. Without it, it will take longer for it to adjust the temp up should it overshoot the selected temp. It's not completely necessary, but your temp swings as the cooling goes on and off, it can take a bit longer in the winter.I researched and agonized over this buying purchase for months, after reading the other reviews on this device, and I wished someone had told me this stuff before buying it, so I did it for the next person. I am a cigar enthusiast, and have done a ton of reading and research on these topics in the last 6 months and see a lot of mistakes and misunderstanding in some of the low ratings on these devices, there is still a chance you will get a malfunctioning unit, but more often it seems like people do not have the knowledge necessary to troubleshoot standard cigar humidor issues.I hope this helps you!

Needone to have happy cigars
I have had for 1.5 years. Great product. I find it works better in a climate controlled environment. I spent $100 for 3 trays because the shelves will have you chasing rolling cigars. The inside light doesn't light the bottom trays. The digital hygrometer is novelty at best. No issue buy a hygrometer. Temp and digital push pad is spot on. No noise. Thermoelectric so it works best in climate controlled environment. Season trays with distilled water for 48 hours, use Boveda packs. Excellent gasket sealing door, heavy door with tinted glass. Recommend highly. I bought a friend the 23.

Buy KingChii instead - constant dripping of water at back and will not keep humidity
I have this model on top of a KingChii 38L model. The KingChii keeps humidity without me even having to try. No condensation and keeps temp perfectly. The NeedOne is at least 1 degree off and has a constant dripping of water inside at the back that drains into a drain hole. Humidity plummets. Even if you cover the hole as many others on Reddit will suggest to help maintain humidity, it doesn't change the fact that with many models, obviously mine included, you'll just end up with a pool of water at the back. Something is defective. Luckily I got a refund. Avoid this and go with another brand. The width also means that you won't be able to fit any boxes without putting them in sideways, which is dumb.

Very Nice and Worth It.
Great unit here. When you get this humidor. Don't get in a hurry to use it. Wash it out very well with because of the incredible plastic smell inside. Don't worry it will go away pretty quickly. Baking soda in a bowl will help. The Spanish Cedar drawer and trays haver very little (almost none) aroma to them. Not sure why there is a drain hole in the bottom of the unit. It just makes it tough to maintain humidity inside. I added a very small (computer) fan inside to help circulate the air and eliminate any uneven humidity. I ran the power cord through that drain hole and then sealed it shut. Now humidity is maintained at 69% - 70% easily. The unit heats and cools as needed to keep the interior at 69F. Heating and cooling is the only way to go with a humidor of this size. The temp readout is off by about 1.5 degrees which is about 1%. That's not bad at all. A few minor modifications and it goes from very good to GREAT.Overall, it is worth EVERY PENNY.

You need one!!
Just like the title says. You need one of these. Whether you’re a beginner smoker or been smoking for 40 years.I’ll give you all the pro’s and con’s (which isn’t many.Pro’s. Nice construction, real cedar wood, so quite it’s in my room and I don’t hear it at night. Holds temp and humidity very well. Shelves and drawer can be moved into diff spots. Even on 10-12 degree temp swings in my room inside temp only moves plus or minus half a degree.Con’s. Even though it comes with a digital hygrometer it’s way off. Do not use this hygrometer as a reference!! It doesn’t have an option to calibrate the temp and I find mine is off 2 degrees. I have to keep it set at 66 for it to be 68. Not the end of the world. The shelves don’t have sides which would be nice to keep your cigars from falling out when you pull the shelves out even though this hasn’t happened to me yet. The front glass is tinted so it’s hard to see inside with the door closed. I guess it’s good if where you store it gets sunny, it’ll keep the heat out but you’ll need the flashlight on your phone to read your hygrometer. I suggest a Govee. So I seasoned this with 3 320g 84 boveda packs for 6 days. 6 days was too long. I suggest 3 or 4. I had to leave the door open a while to get the humidity down. I use a humidicup m2 humidifier and it works great. I’m sure boveda packs will work fine, I just wanted the option to be able to adjust the humidity and just add distilled water.

Working great
I’ve had my cigars in my Needone 48L for about a week now. It’s everything I was hoping for. I’m not having any issues that some have had. The trays are a little snug but not a issue for me. The temp has been stable at 68 and humidity at 68. I would definitely recommend this unit.
