Works Great for a Web Cam Holder
I actually bought this to hold a web camera for my streaming setup and it works great, providing new ways to get the shot I'm aiming for. I wouldn't want to put a heavy mic like the blue yeti on it though, at least not with it extended!Easy to adjust height, angle or extension by twisting knobs and locks well into place, although I am using a very light payload.

Get's Most Jobs Done
I've used this stand in various places in my little home studio, usually to hold microphones farther out to try to keep the stand out of frame of my videos. Typically this will work, but with any devices with a bit more heft to them, the stand is a bit light and will tips. The base can help a bit if you can turn one of the legs in the same direction that you are putting the arm, but otherwise you may need to pin or weight down the legs.I bought a camera mount to go on a microphone stand because it's harder to get taller camera tripods than taller mic stands that can also have a more adaptive mount point. However I did have problems with this stand and the mount. I was trying to put a DSLR style camera on the end which is a decent amount of weight that's above average, so this is partially my fault as well, but I couldn't extend the arm too far out without the camera being too heavy and causing the stand to tip over, but I also couldn't put the leg in the proper position because of the setup I have, so again partially my fault as well. For at least 90% of jobs, this thing can get them done. I will say that I also had some issues with putting a condenser microphone on the stand, and having the stand be stable with the arm extended out, but again usually this problem can be solved with adjusting the leg placement of the stand, but I think there was a couple times where I couldn't for one reason or another and I had to fenagle the placements of everything to make it all properly work and be stable.

They Should Open A School to Teach Others About Customer Service
First off let me say that this company makes a pretty good product. Usage for the boom is for speaker frequency measurement. That being said, the stand arrived with all the parts intact but one piece was slightly bent. I contacted the seller to see what they would do for me. I received a return email the next day from Enver the customer service rep who pleasantly stated they would be happy to send me out a replacement part. Barely four days later I received a rather large box from FedEx and was puzzled as to what it might be. To my surprise, when opened there was a complete replacement boom stand inside!! Amazing! This without asking for a return of any sort. AND... this one was perfect! The stand is well made, sturdy and easily adjustable. With turn lock leg extensions rather than the usual clasps and work easily. Would that all companies had their business model. BIG Recommend!!

It's Okay and gets the job done.
These are light weight but will work. I don't recommend them for professional use. However, for an individual. jamming or practicing you should be just fine. A big problem is that you must take it completely apart to put it back in the back. The bag isn't the best made. There was only one cord clip with my unit and in the photo, I observed at least three maybe four. It's okay and the price reflects the review.
