This is a AWESOME SOUNDBAR AND SUBWOOFER
Hi my name is Matt Morgan, I was afraid and had my concerns about this surround sound bar and subwoofer because of all the reviews!!! I just got my soundbar with subwoofer. The box was in bad shape so I unpack it carefully and plug it in the wall there is a blue light on the subwoofer is blinking but as soon I plug the soundbar on the blue light from the subwoofer stop blinking. Everything sounds great. I was just amazed so great the sound sounded!!! I love this soundbar with subwoofer. No turning off yet the control works like it should. No trouble i would recommend this too anybody!!!

Great for the value
My husband loves it. The surround sound is awesome. I would recommend. What I didn't appreciate was that the box was not covered. The logo and picture of the item were on the box. It was supposed to be a surprise birthday present, and the surprise was ruined.

It's ok but there is better
I have this in bedroom for 3-4 years now. Had to disconnect the sub, it is just a little much for the space. Have hardwoods and it is downward firing. The bar itself is clear but small woofers and very little bass out of it. It does get decently loud but it's not like the rest of klipsch products that will deafen you. I would recommend this for a small room but not something large. The sub is ok for what it is. I dont like that it is bluetooth only, no crossover except on bar and it is a level only control. As a matter of fact, their is no crossover what so ever, just a "voice, night and surround mode" so no fine tuning anything. I am a dedicated klipsch fanboy and have 3 other complete systems-pc, man cave, and home theatre. This is the only klipsch that i like but dont love. It serves its current purpose but if i have to replace, id look for something "better." Maybe im spoiled by all my others and have expectations that were too high for a soundbar. for the price, i would next time get studio type monitors-self powered on stands and use them. Most have a built in eq, controls on back, some have an app and quite a few dont require a sub. I have a set of the fives and if i ever upgrade them to the sevens, the fives are going to replace this bar and they dont necessarily need a sub in most applications. I have an spl-10 hooked to them now and they sound great. I have an son% soundbar in my garage and this does do much better than it. If klipsch had made this with an app to control an eq, gave the sub a dedicated crossover and ability to pair it with anything else, or a direct input, it would have been so much better. So do i regret buying it, no, i just wanted something that gave me better sound that the tv but i do wish i had gotten something a little more flexible.

I stand by Klipsch... but the lack of an auto-off function ended up with me returning it
I've been a fan of Klipsch for over 15 years, and my home theater is made up solely of Klipsch speakers. So when I looked at getting a soundbar for my office, Klipsch was at the top of my list.I bought the Klipsch Cinema 400 along with a Amazon Fire TV 4-series. I knew with TVs having a HDMI-ARC, connecting a soundbar should really be a snap. And it was... except the soundbar did not want to stay off every time the TV was turned off.I did all the things, including doing a factory reset on the TV and the soundbar. I checked the TV settings to rule it out. I contacted Klipsch support Sunday night, only to hear from them 2 days later to ask what kind of TV I had, and I've not heard back since.A digital optical cable did seem to eliminate the issue-of course, then you have to use the Klipsch remote for the volume instead of everything being incorporated into the TV's remote. For some reason, the Klipsch Cinema 400 does not have an auto-off function, where the lack of a audio signal after a certain period of time causes the soundbar to automatically turn off to save energy. If it did, I wouldn't be writing this review.Ultimately, I don't want to have to unplug it from the wall everytime I'm not using it, and using two remotes is silly where the ARC technology says you don't have to. Not having a no-brainer feature that's been around for quite some time like having an auto-shutoff... what was Klipsch thinking? If you don't care if the power turns off, then by all means go for this soundbar. The sound quality is good overall for its pricepoint (so don't go expecting the sub to shake the ground like it can go under 20 Hz). But if you want one that will automatically shut off after a certain period of time, either be willing to spend more if you're staying with Klipsch (because some of the more expensive models do have the auto shutoff), or go with another manufacturer.
