I never thought I’d get excited about a salad spinner, but the OXO Large Salad Spinner has completely changed my salad prep routine. It’s super easy to use—just one press on the pump and the basket spins like crazy. My greens come out dry and crisp every time, which really helps my dressings stick better and keeps everything fresher in the fridge.The non-slip base keeps it steady while spinning, and the brake button is oddly satisfying to use. I also love that it doubles as a colander and serving bowl, so I get more use out of it than I expected.Cleanup is a breeze—everything comes apart easily and goes right in the dishwasher. If you eat a lot of salads or wash herbs and berries often, this is 100% worth it. OXO nailed it with this one.

This salad spinner is truly revolutionary. It’s incredibly versatile and performs exactly as promised, if not better. I primarily use it for my fruits after soaking them, and I was initially worried it might bruise or mush them up. Thankfully, that’s not the case at all! It’s made of high-quality materials and is very easy to clean and store. I highly recommend it!

As someone who eats a lot of fresh fruits and veggies, and a salad just about everyday, this is a must have! It spins and dries things so much faster. It is well made and spins as it should, I use this frequently and it’s held up well, and washes very easy too. It’s not good to put away your produce wet, (strawberries for example) this helps remove all the excess water and helps to dry everything more quickly before storing things in the fridge. My produce lasts much longer after using this after washing, I still have to lay items out to dry completely, but this definitely helps make it a quicker process.

I used to think salad spinners were a waste of money (I had a plastic OXO one years ago that I wasn't overly impressed with) but this one performs pretty well. It has quite a large capacity, which comes in handy when you're meal-prepping or making large smoothie batches.I knew it being glass would make it heavier but it is still a lot to handle, especially if you have arthritis, joint hypermobility, etc., so bear that in mind before purchasing. I recommend getting silicone grip gloves as a precaution if you do go this route.I was specifically looking for glass because it's easier to clean, doesn't absorb odours, and chemically inert (compared to plastic) and this was the only one that fit the bill on Amazon. It's got fairly solid construction -the glass is quite thick- and while I am careful with it, i'd wager it could probably tolerate rougher handling.Not really sure what purpose the 'brake' is supposed to serve but it's there if you like sort of thing.I took off one star because it's not the most user-friendly weight and a bit over-priced for what it is.

This spinner does a thorough job and is very easy to use. The design is so ergonomically friendly! It doesn’t put any strain on my wrists to operate or to open the lid when done. It is easy to clean. I liked it so much I bought one for a friend.

how did i not know this was a thing…cleaning lettuce sucked balls, until now. this little contraption makes it SO much easier to wash my greens & it keeps them fresh for quite a while.after rinsing i toss the spinner in the fridge with greens safely stored inside. salad is always ready to go!i’m not a big fan of prewashed greens that come in plastic containers, but when i do purchase them i immediately transfer to this bad boy & i no longer have to sift thru & weed out the gooey, soggy pieces or lay out individual leaves on towels to dry (tedious things that caused me to eat way less leafy greens.)in love with this thing. it’s sturdy, super functional & the price is fair.

How can I have so much fun with spinning lettuce?! haha- so glad I found one that you push and do not have to turn/crank- I feel this is much easier. Stays put on counter with the rubberized bottom. The 'stop' button sort of cracks me up- not sure why I would need to urgently stop the spin, but its there if you need it! I do like the locking mechanism so that it takes up a bit less space when storing in cabinet. Works really well, not too difficult to clean. If it ever breaks, I would buy again.
