Will Payne and Sean Power star in this bloodsucking sequel to 2011's 'Fright Night'. When sexy new professor Gerri Dandridge (Jaime Murray) lectures at their college, students Charley (Payne) and 'Evil' Ed (Chris Waller) quickly fall under her spell. But when they discover that she's actually a major league vampire with an unquenchable thirst for blood - especially that of Charley's ex-girlfrend Amy (Sacha Parkinson) - the boys waste no time in enlisting the help of reality show vampire hunter Peter Vincent (Power), as they try to end Gerri's reign.

Seizure warning
This movie should come with a seizure warning. There are two scenes, one quite long, with strobe lights. White, bright, constant strobing effects. You have been warned. As for the movie itself, except for the names it had nothing to do with Fright Night, a much better movie. But it is R rated so there's gore and boobs (can I say that?) and stuff if that's your thing. It was...okay.

This movie bites. Big time.
With some modest improvements to the script, acting, effects, editing, PLUS some C level star power this movie could possibly rise to the level of......say......Sharknado 3.....maybe 4 tops.

She's no Regine
An offense to the original Fright Night 2. Terrible acting, the vamp giggled like an air head most of the time. Terrible effects, they all looked ridiculous in the ill fitting plastic looking fangs. Over an hour of my life wasted watching! Spare yourself.

Yes yes, my headline is childish but I really could not think of any witty puns on the film title due to what I believe being this movie destroying part of my brain.Ok, let's be honest, I bought this knowing it would probably not be that great compared to any of the other films (the original two and the remake) seeing as this was basically a direct to DVD/blu ray release with no cinematic run, but I did not expect it to be this bad.Despite being a sequel (at least that is what you expect when it has the number 2 after the name) it has absolutely no connection to the previous film with Anton and Colin, and is in fact a remake of sorts.Reusing all the old characters (Charlie, Ed, Amy, Peter & Jerry) but transporting them from the USA to Romania and gender swapping Jerry to Gerri (mainly just an excuse for a bit of lesbian titilation I would guess). The story itself follows some similar paths but is totally changed for this one, with the only similarities other than the characters themselves, being that Charlie has to save Amy because she is the girl Jerry/Gerri has been looking for, just for different reasons. The only actor in this movie I have even heard of is Jaime Murray, and she is hardly what you would call an A-list well known actress, so it kinda tells you what sort of budget this movie probably had. While the special effects and the acting itself is not terrible by any means, it is hardly amazing either. Just kinda meh.I only bought this for completionist sake and paid next to nothing for it, but that to be honest is the only reason anyone should buy this.It is not that scary, no humour in it that I could see and despite the premise, was not that sexy either.
