Although the product is comfortable . . it does not stay together when in the seat set up. It continuously slides unless you put a heavy object next to it. It is a real bummer.

I get a lot of compliments on the versatility of this sofa bed. We use it in an rv, where the bench slides out to make a twin bed. It is firm, but not uncomfortable. I slept on it one night out camping, and it was fine. Converts from bed, back into sofa, and you don't have to remove the twin sheet. It is sewn together except for the center base cushion that you set on, if it slides around, you can always apply Velcro strips to the bottom base and mattress to prevent this. It works great for our application. I have referred several people to where I purchased this, because of it uniqueness. My neighbor bought one to put in her "SHE SHED" lol.In mattress formation, it is exact size of a twin bed, folded up it is "31 inches front to back". 10 inches thick backrest depth, and backrest is 20 inches tall, from base to the top of backrest, folded up in Sofa mode. 76 inches long x 10 inches thick in mattress form.

For what I wanted, I think this will work fine. I think it's better if you know what you are getting, instead of expecting things to work like the images depict. Be aware that there it nothing holding the middle piece and the 4 outer sides together. When you position this for a couch, unless you have a wall or something sturdy behind it, it won't stay put. Fortunately I am using this as a complement to my bed, and I have the back resting on the wall well enough to keep it all together.I haven't slept on it yet but it seems a bit too soft when I sit of it. I feel like I go right through it. I would have preferred something more firmEDIT: I guess I didn't give it enough time. But after a a few days, it became firm enough for me.

I ordered the twin size to be used on top of a folding metal frame in our tiny guest room. The frame made it the height of a regular bed. I added an inexpensive foam mattress topper from Target and let them offgas/air out for a day before putting sheets on the bed. My Mom was very comfortable sleeping on this mattress when she visited me for 10 days.Additional note: the frame is one I got from Amazon a few years ago that doesn’t need a box spring. One of my housemates used it as the base for her regular twin mattress for two years without a problem. Item is floppy and pieces do not attach in any way that makes them work as in the photo. I have I need similar ones and this is substandard to the style. Also, it is not actual memory foam.

While I should have realized this issue by looking more carefully at the pictures, I didn't figure out that when used as an on floor sofa the bottom section would separate from the backrest. I've tried covering it with the blanket that I talked under the front to keep it from coming apart without great success. I will say that my seven-year-old grandson finds sitting on it quite comfortable when he comes over to watch SpongeBob

This is actually the second one that we bought. We originally bought one to use as a mattress because our toddler is a wild sleeper so we all sleep on the floor in the living room. We wanted something that could be converted to a sofa during the day so we had more space. This provides a good amount of cushioning as a mattress and a sofa. The only thing is that it's pretty low, compared to a traditional sofa. That's why we got 2, so that we can have it at a height that's typical of a couch.

My 5 year old son loves it. It will work for now. If it lasts it will need a topper as a bed for comfort.
