Seems solid, functional, not so stylish and a couple odd or annoying features
My main use for this is mostly the stopwatch function when running, not for daily wear, so when my first impression was that it looked kind of chunky and plain that was ok but it's definitely not a showpiece watch. It initially looked thicker than normal but when I measured it I could see it was about average but the solid black with nothing to break it up makes it look thicker. It seems to work well,it really takes a couple years of use to know for sure how it lasts though, how accurately it holds time, true battery life and the like. It uses a standard size coin battery and it looks like 4 small screws hold the backing in place if you need to replace it. I really like the feel of the buttons, smooth,a nice level of pressure but an annoying feature is that it beeps every time you push a button. I like that feature when I start or stop the timers so you know the stopwatch started for example but setting it or changing functions is very annoying with many beeps for so many button pushes, there's no way to do it discretely, especially because it doesn't have a very easy programming function, the button labels are hard to read because they're just lightly engraved into the black case with no paint highlights and it seems to take more steps than usual to accomplish anything. Save the instructions because some things you'll never figure out without them,I miss things like on my Ironman watch with a plus or minus or next sign on the screen by buttons as you program. An oddity and a little distracting is that while the stopwatch is running the display cycles through the days of week very quickly, it doesn't have a useful function but you probably won't at it anyway. The screen is nice and clear and easy to read and lights up nicely. Overall as long it lasts for a while it seems good for what it is,a basic budget sport watch and I'll put it through some use and update on more long term performance if I can but I think I prefer others in the category like the Casio AE1500 a little more.

Digital Watch
Men's digital watch with silicone straps. The clasp on one of the straps is metal. The watch has a large display making it easy to read. It came with easy to follow instructions. Setting up the watch was simple. The watch has an alarm. The sound isn't quiet, but not overly loud either. It also isn't annoying like some watch sounds can be. The watch is comfortable to wear and doesn't have a bulky feeling. This is a good watch at a good price.

Exactly what I expected
This watch is about the quality I expected for the price. The watch glows very nicely at night if you hit the light button and it seems decently built. The watch band is on the cheaper side as it is plastic. The time is VERY large which could definitely be good for someone older who may have issues seeing the time. I will say for 17 dollars you usually don't get a watch with all this data on it so it's pretty decent.

Will not lay flat!
Aside from its excellent functionality, this watch will simply NOT lay flat (see pics)!!! While perhaps unimportant to others, this really bothers me. By not laying flat, it takes up way too much unnecessary space if packing it for a trip - you'd have to be wearing it to spare yourself of the lost space this watch would take up in your packing. That aside, the functionality of this watch - especially at this low price - is second to none. Its very simple to use, readability is high, and I absolutely love how the illuminated display function illuminates only the letters and numbers (which is how it should be). Also, the 7 independent squares (for each day of the week) along with its associated letter (S for Sunday, M for Monday, etc) is brilliant!! Nothing to figure out, the time & day display shows you everything you need without even having to think about it.All functions - especially the stopwatch function which I regularly use - are a pleasure to use given the readability of the display. For under $20 (at the time of this review), this is a real bargain... and I'd definitely purchase it again!

EPIC!!! It has a countdown timer!
The media could not be loaded. I hope this thing lasts for eternity, because it's the the first watch I've found that actually has a countdown timer. Yes, it has a stopwatch, too, but it has a countdown timer! That's the kind that you can set it for 45 minutes to remind you to switch your laundry or whatever. This is truly a big deal. I usually have my phone do it, but I forget to take it off silent, or I forget my phone, and I'm toast. Now I'll be WEARING my countdown timer always. (Queue angelic music). It even gives you a heads-up beep for the last few 5 second intervals to let you know you're time is almost up.It's also got nice, big numbers on the face, and the date right there on the face, both very helpful. Even the tiny day of the week on the face will be helpful. Most of my work is outside, and often in the mud and grime, and I'm usually wearing gloves, so checking those things on my phone can be a drag.So far it's quite comfortable. No arm-hair pulling (I hate that).I love this watch.

A comfortable watch to wear with a nice large readout with seconds
This a nice looking stylish watch and comfortable to wear. It is fairly large but that is what I wanted... a watch with a large readout that includes easy-to-read seconds and large easy-to-use buttons. I need the seconds readout for some of my work tasks. The watch does what I want so it was an overall good buy for me.
