Great controller
PS5 DualSense Edge Controller Review: Premium Control with Lasting ValueSony’s DualSense Edge controller for the PS5 is a high-end evolution of the standard DualSense, and after hands-on time with it, it's clear this is a serious piece of hardware made for gamers who want customization, durability, and long-term value. The build quality is top-notch, with a satisfyingly weighty feel and rubberized grips that improve comfort during long sessions. The standout features include remappable back buttons, adjustable trigger sensitivity, and multiple customizable profiles—perfect for switching between competitive shooters and cinematic single-player titles. But what really justifies the premium price (roughly double the cost of a regular DualSense) is the modular stick design. Instead of replacing the whole controller due to the all-too-common issue of stick drift, you can just swap out the stick modules—an option that can save significant money and frustration in the long run. That alone offsets the higher upfront cost, especially for gamers who put in heavy hours.Bottom line: the DualSense Edge isn’t cheap, but it earns its price tag with thoughtful features, superior build quality, and the future-proof ability to repair rather than replace. For serious players or anyone tired of controller turnover due to drift, this is an investment worth making.

Looks Premium, but does it perform like a Premium controller?
Short Answer: Mostly, yes.The Dual Sense Edge is (sort of) an answer to Xbox's Elite Controller. It's about 12% bigger than the standard PS5 Dualsense controller. The FN buttons act as a shortcut to several different profiles that you can customize, there's 4 profile slots, but the default profile cannot changed or removed, so technically 3. You can Adjust the Stick sensitivity/Curve to your liking, or just make it flat out digital(recommend this function a lot, honestly) You can also add two extra shortcut paddles to back of the controller for maximum control and you can remap any button on the controller to your desired preference. You can also adjust game chat and game volume with the FN buttons via the D-Pad. This controller feels perfect in the hands and the swap out sticks is a nice touch, but I can't really say much about swapping them, as I haven't really needed to.Face buttons:They're solid, with the exception of the D-Pad. The D-Pad has this "creaky" feel to it when you press it. It's disappointing that it got like that in less than a month of use and the battery life is not bad. You get about 3 hours of play time with the controller before you need to plug it in. Triggers and the Trigger Stops work well, and are useful for games that don't really need the extra trigger movement (some rpg games, 2D indie games, etc.).Conclusion: I would recommend it, but it's steep price ($200 as of this review) will be a deal breaker for most people.

I love the black.
The media could not be loaded. Not alot to say about the performance, feel, price etc as this technically isn't a new release, so I'm sure most us have heard of or familiar with the Dual edge controller. Unless your new to the ps5 console and accessories experience. Any youtubee could easily get yo up to date. But if you have any questions I don't mind. Now All that's new as far as I know is this an all black addition. Which they've also released with the wireless ear buds, and the portal. Playstation isn't on top by default, it's purr market genius, if they released a color options like black addition on lunch date. They wouldnt of make as much moeny. But release them as the years go buy you Reignite the flame to want somthing you already have. Than there collectors, and those just that break stuff for views, Twitchers(if Im saying it correctly) Online Gamers, influencers. Everybody got a gimmick. That help Cataported the game Industry into a new era.Now moving on fro that rant, I own the original and it's decent. I love the mappable buttons, and the option to save what you've mapped to different profiles for different games. The changeable joysticks is a big selling point. I have not needed to change mines a yet., As I don't use it heavily. I honestly find the standard controller work just find for my style of gameplay, I'm a story mode/quest on the kinda guy. So I do fine with the basics. Now With the common issues that these controllers have the more expensive ones feel more fragile to me. I ocne had to send my aim control back to change the joysticks haven't used it siince. Now The peeling of the rubber around the handle on the dual edge is very annoying. Is it worth it? For me yes. I love black and it's black is beautiful and it was enough for me, I somtimes feel the price point could of been cheaper like 149.99 but when you start thinking of or comparing the price tag to other controllers which essentially does the same thing as far is adaptive triggers and multiple buttons like aim, or phantom, scuff etc 200 isn't so bad for somthing that will perform and comes with an amazing case or other accessories, I'm shocked that's not sold separately. PLEASE DON'T GET AND IDEAD PLAYSTATION!!The gaming industry is changing before our eyes. Between the hackers, game content creators. It's drifting away from fun gaming experiences to just frustrate gaming difficulties atleast with sowm of the heavy hitters. Warzone is a mess, I can't wait to see the chaos with gta6.Anyways happy gamming

Exactly What I Wanted
This was a replacement DualSense controller after my old one was stolen. Not really much to add here that anyone who's used one of these things doesn't already know. I love these due to the fact that I have pretty big hands, and the Xbox and old DualShock controllers would be kinda small for me. The DualSense is a great size and weight, allowing me to play for hours - something that the older controllers could never allow. For the games that support it, DualSense functionality can be absolutely incredible. Games such as Returnal on PC have incredibly precise haptic feedback, with you being able to feel the rain through the rumble as it patters down on Selene. Games like COD implement cool features like triggers jamming if a gun does, on top of unparalleled vibration feedback for every weapon in the game.Long story short, if you're in the market for a new PC controller, you really can't go wrong with this. It might be pricey, but it's comfortable and very well made.
