Overpriced, doesn’t work
The power button sticks. So I have to try multiple times to unstick the button just to turn the thing on!! Very frustrating. Once it’s heated, the curl takes a very long time, and the width is too short.

Just Okay
Kinda hard to get on lashes love the concept of it, it's just okay, nothing to rave about.

Great idea, poor design.
I had really high hopes for this product. I have very straight, difficult to curl lashes, and the idea of using heat to curl them appealed to me. Unfortunately, the design flaws are not making this easy. The positives: The curler has three heat settings, all easily visible once you turn the unit on. It does need to charge before the first use, which takes about an hour. It is a USB charger, so you do need a wall USB adapter if you want to plug it into your wall outlet. The pink pad turns white when the unit is heated, so it's nice to have a visual cue to know when it's heated sufficiently. The heat is not too hot! I was a little apprehensive about placing something heated near my eye, but this is more warm than hot. I did test it on my hand and my cheek before curling my lashes to check the temperature. The negatives: There are some significant issues with this curler that make it difficult to use. First, the tab/lever that moves the curling pad up and down is located in the back of the unit and you fold it out to use. That part is fine, as it makes for easy storage, however it is pretty thin and weak feeling when you use it, like it may snap off at some point. Another issue with the tab is that you really need to use significant pressure to curl your lashes, and the only way to easily use the curler is to push the tab down with your index finger, not your thumb, which would make more sense. So you basically have to hold it in an odd way and press with your index finger. The lower pad of the curler which heats and rises up to curl your lashes is soft, but the piece on top where the pad pushes into to make the curl is the same thin plastic as the tab on outside. I pinched my eyelid once with it while trying to get a good position. Ouch! For me, the biggest issue with this curler is the limited visibility while you're trying get your lashes in the curling area. The whole curler is like one large rectangular block, with a small area to fit your lashes into. It's definitely not like a traditional eyelash curler which has larger spaces to you can see where you're putting it on your face and lashes. This unit requires a lot of positioning and re-positioning to get it where you need it before curling. I even used a 10x magnifying mirror to help, and it was difficult. When I finally got my lashes curled and mascara on, the curl was decent, but didn't last all day. I didn't take points off for that, as I know my lashes are hard to curl. The negatives I experienced really were based on the design of the unit and ease (or lack) of use.

meh
I have used heated curlers before and thought I got better results. This product is easy to use and is designed well. I do find however that it does not curl my lashes how it could. I have it on the highest heat setting and hold it pinched on my lashes for 10 seconds. It feels warm but I have never burned myself and maybe that is why I am not getting the curl like I used in the past. I would suggest this product to a friend and I use it every day but I just can't give it 5 stars because it is not anything better than a normal lash curler.

Love!
I absolutely love this eyelash curler! I previously already have a japonesque eye curler that was already worked great but this heats up, making the lashes hold their curl! Leaves my lashes, looking beautiful! I’m very happy!

Difficult to use & poorly designed.
For reference, I have long natural eyelashes and round/open eye shape so i've never struggled with any eyelash curling tool ... EVER. (I've been complimented on my "big blue eyes" my whole life and my grandmother always said how I'd never need mascara when I grew up.) I have a "travel" eyelash curler that is super small (it reminds me of a "military issued can opener" that none of my friends seem to know how to use). It curls lashes with a little flip out piece that becomes the tensioner to open/close the device. (Most people do not like this style of curler and its not my favorite either, but it gets the job done when I need to use it.) I also have the bigger more traditional looking eyelash curler that heats up and charges via USB. (Many don't like these either because the curler parts are thicker and usually pinch eyelids unless you have longer eyelashes.) This is the combination of both of those 2 styles of eyelash curlers.*Unfortunately, this one misses the mark BIG TIME* The part where you put your eyelashes needs to be moved to the front of the tool. It's recessed so far back that I couldnt get my lashes to curl at the base and ended up barely curling the ends of my lashes. If I hold it at an angle and kind of blink onto the pad, then press the tensioner to close, I got MOST of my lashes curled, but not without pinching my eyelids. This one doesn't get nearly as warm as the other more traditional looking heated curler I use daily either. In theory, it's a good product idea ... however the outcome of this actual product is terrible. The eyelash curling part either needs to be moved forward (towards the side with the button) ... OR the curling part needs to be flipped around so it's curved in the opposite direction.I tried curling my lashes several times with this thing thinking that maybe there's a learning curve or something. Each time, I ended up grabbing my other lash curlers to get the job done. There's no learning curve. It's just terrible.

Not what I had hoped.
I am a long time Japonesque user, and I hoped that this would be amazing. But, it wasn’t. It doesn’t hug the eye like their normal curlers, and it really doesn’t give a good curl. You do need to hold it in place for a long time in order to get any curl at all, allowing the device to heat up the lashes. It definitely doesn’t burn your skin, which is a relief. If I have time, I’ll heat up my lashes with the device, then use my normal Japonesque curler to set them. But, that’s not me. I am past the return window, otherwise I would return it. If you haven’t tried their other eyelash curlers, do it, you won’t be sorry about those.
