Awesome
Used for Elbrus this year. Toast!Used over a base compression layer and had no issues at all. Fully accessible with zips all the way up legs; inner gaiter was great as who really wears gaiters now?!?!?!Ability to be able to go to toilet (male) has a zip for access/egress!Padded section for crampon spikings on inner feet - not a large area but sufficientOverall, worth the money and will get a lot of use out of them - easy to throw on for dog walking in winter and next challenge for them is Norway and Ice climbingUpdate. They worked in Norway too! They were used same as above but allowed for a lot of movement to climb. Allowed me to stay dry and no snow or ice got in no matter how bad my climbing technique was! With the waist being so high any stretching up to gain placements meant I was still covered. Well worth the money.Back home and a wash with some tech wash and they are awesome for winter dog walks. So easy. Bite the bullet and buy if procrastinating like I was. Allows you to get out more as you realise they are great for all conditions.

Fantastic outdoor gear, but sizes come up small, just order a size up from normal
Absolutely brilliant product. I live in Orkney, off the north coast of Scotland and have been wearing mine virtually every time I've been out for a walk over the winter. The sizes come up small, had to send XL back and swap for XXL. These now fit fine, are well thought out and really comfortable. Full length zips behind storm flaps mean you can get in and out of them whatever you're wearing on your feet. They are warm, I've only needed thin thermals or leggings under them and they've laughed off all the wind and rain Orkney can throw at them. And Orkney does the wind and rain thing exceptionally wellFour star review would be five if the sizing was in the real world, just buy a size up and enjoy them and the great outdoors👌

Excellent bib salopettes
Bought these for skiing as wanted a pair of bib salopettes rather than just trousers. They are excellent. Gaiter fits over ski boots no problem. I wear some thermals under them as they are not warm themselves. Worn skiing in -11c and no problem with just some thermal long johns. If I have one very minor grumble I would prefer zipped hand pockets to be added either side but otherwise they are excellent. Keep my back nice and warm too.Highly recommended

Very satisfied
I got these for a backpacking trip to Lapland. Daytime temperatures were about 10C and they were a bit warm for hiking but they were great for evenings and for avoiding a cold lower back when kneeling down to pack up a tent, pick blueberries etc. Good for canoeing as well.

Best ski pants (so far)
I really like these salopettes. I find them a little tight, especially when having to do all the bending to get my boots on - but once I'm out on the slopes I think they are excellent. Probably a case of me needing to be smaller rather than the sizing of the salopettes.

Exitement ends in Dissapointment
I was looking for a quality pair of Salopettes and I thought these would do the job. First thing to do was to try them on and I was initially concerned by the length of the shoulder straps provided, there is very little capacity to loosen and wear a fleece underneath. I am glad that I opted for a size larger than suggested by the size chart based upon my measurements. The actual fit of the Salopettes is good and there is space to move freely, they seem well constructed with quality materials. However, the shoulder straps are once again an area that requires improvement. The straps are stitched into the main garment on the front and back and the stitching is a single row of stitches close tho the seem of the garment. Based upon previous experience of cheaper garments this is an area that will require repair as it will prove to be a weak point.Overall I am disappointed as these garments could be so much better with just a few tweaks in the strap design, a double or cross stitch and a one piece strap construction made from a stretchable material.

great
Have to say they've not been used in anger yet, but feel great and a good fit. Appear to be well made and designed. If they manage to keep me warm and dry on the hill, it'll be 5 *****.Now used 3 times on the hills, each time around 1degree when starting out, had to open zips to cool down on the climb but windproof and warm on the tops, no rain yet :-/

Great item!
I ordered these as I've been looking for skiing bibs that fit for months.I'm female, nearly 6ft tall, size ten and ordered a medium long and they fitted perfectly. I worn them on a ski trip to Morzine last week and was impressed. They are a little bit on the pricey side but worth the money when your in a snow storm!
