The wipes work very well. One is all it takes to thoroughly clean my hands.

I love these. When you load just a couple mags, you will see how much black dust is on your fingers with just a simple wipe. Good for hands, face, and even a quick brush against clothing and hair. Highly recommended.

We shoot targets with firearms and lead, toxic if ingested, tends to get on one's hands and other places when bullets are fired. D-Lead is famous as a soap or cleaner that claims to remove the lead. Their liquid hand soap is fine but not very portable, so we got these wipes, recommended by the range we shoot at. The wipes are fine, although I wonder if they actually have any power beyond regular wipes to neutralize or be a solvent / cleaner for lead. Two problems: The wipes were inside the plastic canister in a sealed plastic pouch to keep the moisture in, which is fine, but no instruction about whether to peel and feed from the inside hole of the roll or off the outside, did not want to muck up things by pulling off the wrong place. Worse, the blue lid fits loosely, spins around easily, so obviously not terrific at keeping air out and moisture in so they last, so I store the package inside a zipper lock plastic bag and squeeze out all the air before zipping closed, in hopes of keeping the wipes moist and useable. Either dumb packaging or intentional so they dry out and you have to buy more? But the wipes seem to clean our hands, have not chemically tested post-wipe hand for lead contamination, but visually looks effective, so good product but better packaging and instructions needed.

To start the roll of wipes one must remove the lid which usually splits on the side. After several trips to the range the hinged glad that seals over the wipe sticking out of the lid snaps off.Plan on taping the lid down after you start the wipes through the hole in the lid top and then taping the flap to the lid so you dont lose it. If you dont shoot a lot the wipes may dry out before you get part way through the roll.Best analogy: buy a Stacatto and get a $5holster.

Good product and idea. But looking at the contents, I think they are just wet wipes. Really nothing there that specifically removes lead. Good idea to clean your self off after the range or gun cleaning.
