Dualit 72815 Classic Polished Rapid Boil Kettle 1.7L - Extra Quiet!

Excellent kettle. I would highly recommend this kettle. It is extremely quiet. Yes it is a considered purchase but quality is outstanding and made in the UK. Besides the ergonomically design it is beautiful to look at and looks great with my classic Dualit 4 slot toaster that I purchased 12/15mths ago. With both these products I like the fact that you can if needed be able to replace parts (not that i have needed to) rather than go out and buy new.Delivery from the supplier Specialist Electrics was excellent - came within 48hrs of placing order and was free P&P :).

We needed a new kettle to replace our elderly Cuisinart (with which we had been very satisfied). We already have the Dualit toaster and I felt that the shiny kettle would look good standing along side. Part of the reason was the ability to replace a failed (whatever it is that heats the water). We have replaced failed parts a couple of times in our toaster which must be at least 30 years old now. I viewed the Architect model but kept looking back to the Classic which I thought a better match. Extremely pleased, it boils quickly and makes no more noise than the previous kettle and pours well. We have had this a while and it is easy to keep it looking shiny. Probably a little more expensive than I wanted to pay but I think it will be with us for many years to come.

Very good kettle, quality is good and it is reasonably quiet although not much different to any other kettle and it looks good.It is an expensive kettle where you could get something much cheaper and will boil water just the same so you are paying a lot of money for a name.if you don't mind spending the money buy it, otherwise buy a cheap one and in a couple of years time throw it away and get a newer more efficient one then.

I agree with other reviews not very quiet,other point to consider is that the stainless steel outside gets hot and could cause injury in young children ,but otherwise a rock solid reliable and very fast kettle. Spout does not spill at all which is a great plus c/w most other kettles we owned. It also is fast and does not overspill as long as you stick to the clear red marker for maximum fill.. Great design and if it lasts as long as our dualit toaster good value for money.

Very pleased with my new kettle. ItLooks very smart on my quartz workbench and I like that it boils quickly and that it shows number of cups in the window.

Very disappointing. These are not like Dualit products of old. I bought a Dualit Kettle and Toaster on the basis that they would last for years and would be repairable. However, this is not the case with modern Dualit products. Both failed (outside the guarantee period) and when I contacted Dualit, I was advised that neither were repairable and I should just purchase new ones.The premium price is really not worth paying. These products last no longer than products half the price.

After having had another Smeg retro kettle fail on us for the third time we decided to opt for the Dualit Classic Kettle.This kettle is a beauty to look at and performs well, the only annoying thing is the length of cable which can't be wound around the cable tidy more than once.The spout is a great design and pours evenly.We have had no problem with lifting the lid to fill and at this moment in time we are very pleased with our purchase

Purchased June 2022 for £127 (RRP now £150}. The kettle has recently started to boil intermittently. I have contacted the manufacturer and been quoted £55 plus any postage to repair with a three week turn round. For an item at this price and less than 3 years old I expect a longer product life and three weeks without a kettle, I don't think so! I have never had a kettle that has failed after this period and all have cost a fraction of the cost of this one. I will not be spending Dualit money on a replacement.
