Great for repairs
Repaired a hole in my soft top on my mx5 with this. Highly recommend for canvas repairs. Well worth the money.

Awl is good, needles a bit too coarse
Thought this package would be good value, but the needles are too large/thick and not sharp enough. Also, the eyes are smaller than they should be for upholstery threads/leather etc. I can't use them easily, I think there are better quality needles out there. The awl is great, I will be using this a lot for upholstery work.

Leather sowing kit
Good selection of needles, not sure if I will use them allI have only used the leather needle for sowing on patches to a leather jacket. Found it difficult at first and needle kept bending. This was because I wasn’t using it right. Once I discovered that you use the bradel looking thing to punch holes, task became so much easier. Doh! No more bent needles or blooded fingers.People saying how cheap needle is but I’m impressed that it is still being used despite it being bent and straightened soooo many times and now resembling a mini Harry Potter wand.Thread is black, quite thick and strong. Waxed and easily pulled through, once you manage to pull through the needle 😁. Have sown on five patches and there appears to be plenty of thread left

Leather seat repair
Used on my drivers leather seat. I broke a couple of needles, maybe this was my fault not too sure. But it got the job done and its holding up perfectly, even on my old worn seat. Ideal product for me and anyone who needs to repair their leather seats. Would buy again. It's a no brainer for price and repair compared to buying new or 2nd hand seat and replacing, stitching took me 10 mins. Removing the seat would take longer.

Brilliant set of needles and good thick thread did the job well

A bit disappointing.
This would have been the ideal bit of kit for my purposes however the awl point was bent and the needle I was going to use was rough. There were bits of metal sticking out where it should have been smooth. So I had to file the awl and use an ordinary needle.
