A necesity for replacing cables and housings for brake and detailur cables. Works well though housing may get a bit crushed but easy to open up with pointer awl. Well worth the price and great for the occasional bicycle mechanic.

For the price these are great! Unless you are going to run a bike repair shop these cutters will last someone doing their own bike repair a lifetime. Clean cuts of both housings and cables.

We had a pair in the workshop but nobody could find. So I bought a set thats mine so next time When i need to cur a cable off i don't have to try with tools for other thongs.

Great price for cable cutters. Couldn't handle my crappy pair of wire cutters anymore and needed some reasonably priced cutters because I'm building another bike for my son to mtb with me. These not only cut brake & shifting cables very well but also the cable housings as well. Glad I found these and recommend them.

For the price, I think these are hard to beat! Might not last years in a shop, but for the average guy they surely will.

Been needing one of these for a while and decided to go with these based on price and reviews. Nice, sturdy tool with hefty, sharp jaws. I've been very pleased with the easy, clean cuts on my bike cables. Deforms cable housings a little more than I was hoping, but that's easy enough to shape up, and they do way better than side cutters ever did.

Used to cut 1/8 SS cable for kayak skeg. Worked very well, fast delivery and met expectations.

Bought a cheap pair of cable cutters for changing brake and gear cables,big mistake they were useless and didn't touch the gear outer so went a bit more expensive (£9.99) and well pleased. should last a lifetime with my two bikes.

Cuts cable housings and wires with clean cuts.Decent build quality, does the job properly with low price.Recommend this for budget purposes.

Cuts through housing and bike cables very easily. They can smoosh the housing but I find that's pretty normal with cable cutters, so you'll prob need either another spike tool to open up the hole or to cut it again about 5X till you get it right with the cutters alone. These also open super wide but you can still use them with small hands.Recommended.
