Good quality and sturdy feeling switch
I am using this on some outdoor equipment and wanted something that was waterproof. They feel like quality units and switch solidly. The rubber boots add extra protection and feel durable. Time will tell on longevity, but so far, I like the feel and quality of them.

Solid toggle switches.
I really like these switches. They feel solid and can be used in all sorts of applications. They come with covers for outdoor use, but I am using these for my son’s science fair project. Overall, I am very happy with these toggle switches and I highly recommend.

Not waterproof at all.
I have now burned through all 3 that came in the pack. The last one lasted less than a month. They end up with rust under the rubber cap, and it shorts out somewhere.

Cheap Switches, Not Really Waterproof
I was dubious about these switches, but needed some quickly. Quality is typical of low cost Chinese products, marginal at best.I installed one of these in my boat, in an area that would get occasional light water spray. After a couple of uses over 4 months, I had a reason to look at it again, and it was rusted under the rubber boot.I found some more switches of high quality that were completely encased in a rubber coating. Far more expensive, but sometimes you just need to use good stuff--and this ain't it.
