Great for working on RC cars.

These are 5 star Allen wrenches. I’m a mechanical engineer, former certified auto mechanic and RC Hobbiest (amongst other hobbies). I have a number of different tools and brands (snap-on, sk, team losi, craftsman, etc) but, by far this exact brand and style (old vs new - these are the “old”) are great for RC builds and other projects. The tips have always been durable and the knurled handle makes for a great grip on the tool. I purchased these over the “new” style mainly because I know the “old” style work great. They do not come with a box (which would be nice) but, I would rather have a good tool then a not so great tool with a box. Lastly, just for info, in the picture I have posted you can notice that the bit is shorter than ones I have purchased in the past. See the two different 1.5mm tools for length difference. This isn’t really a big deal and will probably help with durability anyway with the shorter shank. Purchase these without worry. Plus if they ever do break, the shanks are replaceable.

Don't bother with anything cheaper than these, they are all gimmicky and lower quality and you'll eventually end up buying these or MIP tools.I'd say these are 98% of the MIP level of quality. I've got these for hand tools and MIP for power drivers and it's a great combo.

I bought these and another brand same day. I like these, but grab the others more often even though they are cheaper. These may well stand up better over time. What I really like is they do not rill of the workbench.

I've broken 3 different sets of the bargain brand drivers, before I bough these. I DIDN'T want to spend the money for these, & kept buying the bargain brand of Metric drivers. After breaking 3 sets of those, I decided to spend the money & buy this quality set of drivers.I've had a set of these in US Standard sizes, & they worked well for me. I have used that set for 4 seasons at the local indoor RC Raceway. I've never broken one of them.....YET! HOPEFULLY the Metric set will be as reliable for me!

I have owned a set in both metric & imperial for about 10 years used almost every day and they simply perform. They are hard and if dropped will shatter. I have broken 2 in that period of time. I just ordered 3 more metric to replace those that are showing wear over that period of time. The handles are solid unlike some of the others which are hollow.

great tools, i really like the way they look, esp when your work desk is cluttered it's easy to pick out, love the flat part of the handle as it will stop the driver from rolling off the table and stabbing my toe where i might have to go to the emergency room, thanks for saving me a trip there!
