I bought this for the EOS 100D camera arrived the following day. It is cheep plastic, shiny. lightweight does the job well allowing you to use two batteries for longer shooting time.It is small and snug and if you want to use its controls you need to plug in the enclosed jumper cable otherwise it can be used just as a battery pack, good for tripod use no accidents with extra controlsUnfortunately you have to remove it to access the SD card.Has one little flaw make sure the unit fits snugly and tighten finger tight otherwise it may not make contact.
