Delicious and not packed with bad oils like the others

One of my favorite kinds of popcorn is the sweet and salty Kettle Corn type and while checking on line for different brands and prices I came across this product (Skinny Popcorn: Sweet & Salty popcorn, 56 calories per CUP, 12 (1.9 oz. bags) on Amazon for a fair price.I was impressed with the quick delivery price and I admit to liking the great taste of this popcorn; however, you should be aware of this little bit of misleading information. As someone who has lived with Diabetes #2 for more than 12 years I am always counting calories and especially carbs.1. If you eat the whole 1.9 ounce bag of this delicious kettle corn it is NOT 56 calories but 280 calories with whopping 34 grams of Carbs.2. 56 calories per CUP means this bag should contain 5 cups = (280 calories).3. I do not know anyone who is only going to eat only a cup of this delicious popcorn but it is not me.In conclusion, I still love this sweet and salty kettle corn but I advise you to be aware of how many actual calories and carbs you are consuming if you are a diabetic.Rating: 4 Stars. delicious without the guilt. Tastes similar to the already popped store bought bag but not exact. A bit more of a salty taste than a butter taste. Great value for the 6 packets.

Sea Salt flavor > Butter flavor for SkinnyPop.Sea Salt flavor was $7.19 per box and I ordered two back in June. I should have ordered more!!! Maybe that’s why they are out of stock on here due to greedy people!!!Both Butter and Sea Salt flavors from SkinnyPop are tasty, but the salt taste really helps bring out the flavor. (I know!!!! How hard is it to add your own salt at home?!?!) The Sea Salt one is the best popcorn I have had since buying Orville Kettle Korn Low fat microwaveable popcorn that used to come in green boxes at local stores in early to mid 2010s. They have mysteriously disappeared….So, since I am getting back into liking popcorn again, I think I have found a new favorite with Sea Salt by SkinnyPop.Also, SkinnyPop brand is whole lot better than Orville’s Movie Theater Butter popcorn brand that I tried earlier this year since. Both popcorn brands were a good deal, as Orville was #1 on Amazon sales, but it’s not for me. Orville isn’t bad, and it’s better than no popcorn, but give me this SkinnyPop too instead any day of the week!!!!I can actually taste the SkinnyPop Sea Salt popcorn compared to the fully greased up Orville Movie Theater Butter brand. Maybe it’s not fair to judge a full-fat popcorn to a less fat one like SkinnyPop, but the taste to me is what matters here.It’s too bad I am nearly out of this stuff and it’s not in stock either with Amazon or at local stores. I am stuck with Orville for a while after that.
