A key case wallet to consider
I am very satisfied with the quality and function of this wallet after several weeks of use. The leather is nice to the feel and the stitching is absolutely flawless. It replaces one that went through the washer. I've used key case wallets for many years and would not consider any other alternative. I was at first hesitant about the display window stitched on the one side. I read about one person successfully removing it so I decided to take a chance. As it turns out I took my wife's suggestion and put my drivers license in it and will keep it there. I had one temporary disappointment in that I was used to storing my 4 credit and AAA cards in the side pocket but the yoke that holds the 8 key clips is obviously wider than my old 6 key wallet. I could not properly fold the wallet with them in the side pocket. However, unlike my old wallet, there is a sewn in pocket behind the keys which takes the cards quite nicely and is more secure against them slipping out. The side pockets are only good for things that can be folded like my proof of insurance and an emergency 20 dollar bill or two. Due to its symmetry then neither side allows any hard credit card size card to be stored. If you did store cards here I think ultimately you would damage them. Personally I don't need the 8 key feature and would prefer a 6 key version and I only use it for 4 keys. Given the fact that the 8 key feature cause this other loss of functionality is why I did not give it 5 stars. There were much cheaper alternatives available but I just can't imagine them offering the durability based on it quality construction that I expect from this one.

Expensive, but high quality and has the features that are hard to find
Needed to replace a leather key case that has lasted for many years. It is very similar to the one I'm replacing - 8 key rings, 2 snap closures, similar dimensions. I have 2 vehicle keys (same make vehicles) that are very long and have the door locking feature built in which makes a very large & bulky key. I am able to fit them in this key case, but had to grind some of the plastic off the plastic part of the keys so they will turn on the key rings. There is nothing faulty w/the key rings - the problem is the way the bulky key is made. If this key case lasts as long as the previous one, then it's worth the high price.

Expensive, but pretty much worth it.
A little bigger than I expected -- about a half-inch larger than the keycase it's replacing. It has an id place on the back side (a clear plastic thingy to put an info card into) which I can't quite see using: "Why, yes, these are lost keys!! Here's the place to use the keys to get into, Mr. Thief!!" LOL. (Yes, provide alternative information like a friend's house... but still... the notion is amusing). The ring is a bit too close to the interior, so it sticks up a bit too stiffly. And the price is definitely a bit higher than I liked. But all in all, it's decent quality, solid, and has EVERY feature I wanted. There were a lot of cases available for 30 bucks less, but each one was missing one or more of a half-dozen-odd features this one had, all of which I knew from experience were highly desirable: 8 hooks, a coin section, TWO snaps, a separate key ring on the other end, leather, solid construction, and a small billfold capacity.FOLLOWUP, 6y later: Bought it in 2015. It's now late 2021, and it's still pretty solid, no issues of any substance. I did replace the ring with an advanced type of key holder that is designed to be removed more readily, but that was not a necessary thing, just a convenience thing. I am tempted to buy one now, not because I need to replace it, but because i want to make sure i have a replacement when it does become needful.

A well made key case with many features
I would give the Royce Leather Key Case five stars if not for the ID card pouch on the back. i don't know if anybody would keep you your ID on the key case since you could have the car keys plus the house key in the key case. It also add additional thickness. The key case is similar to what I currently have for many years. It has the features I wanted. It is well made and has eight key hooks, two snaps, and a separate key holder. The price is higher than what I paid for the current one.

I like the key case quite a bit
I like the key case quite a bit: I wanted one with eight hooks, and they are there and seem sturdy. I did not realize that since presently I am only using four of them, the others sometimes flop out on top even when the case is closed, and that is a little annoying. I also didn't realize, when I ordered the case through Amazon, that it also has a wallet-like compartment; I don't use the wallet feature yet, but it may be handy later and, in any event, is not a negative. The outside plastic pocket is useful for putting my membership card in when I go to the gym; that's the only use I make it of, since I certainly am not going to put i d in it. I like the overall bulk of the case. The construction and materials seem of high quality, and likely to last, which is all good. All in all, I'm glad I bought this.

Excellent Key Case Except For ID Card Pouch
I would give the Royce Leather Key Case five stars if not for the ID card pouch on the back. Who in their right minds would put all their identification information, including Social Security Number, on the outside of a key case in hopes that if lost some kind person would call or send it back to them? I pitched the card and with the point of a sharp pocket knife snipped all the stitches holding the plastic pouch on. The tiny holes left are almost unnoticeable.Otherwise the case is just what I was looking for. It's long and wide enough to accommodate a modern car key with enormous fob, plus eight other items. It's well-made, and unlike cheap cases, does not smell like a tannery. The key loops are large enough to take more than one key, loyalty card, etc., and open fairly easily, yet close securely. I have used a key case for years to keep my keys from poking holes in my pocket. This one is a worthy successor to the one that had served so long.
