Mug of cake
New diabetic, missed muffins and cakes, this did fulfill my craving. I just tried the carrot cake which wasn’t sweet but you can add a spoon of zero cal cool whip if you need. Or a squirt of sugar free maple syrup. I will buy again.

Actually pretty good
Being a diabetic, sweets are usually not an option. I got these to satisfy my sweet tooth without spiking my blood sugar. Are they comparable to an actual cake? Of course not. They're a little on the dry side and a bit spongey, but flavor-wise I found them to be surprisingly good. The instructions are extremely simple and anyone saying they were unclear didn't read. You literally just melt some butter, dump the mix and an egg in, mix it, and nuke it for 60 seconds. It's impossible to screw up. I would definitely get these again for the times when I don't want to have a lot of sugar. If the texture of a spongey cake grosses you out, you won't like these. I got the variety pack, and I thought all four flavors were good. Not great, but good. I liked the lemon one the best but I think that was just because the lemon flavor overpowered the rest of the cake. I was a little suprised to find that the carrot cake--which I normally love--was actually the flavor I like the least compared to the other three. If you're someone who is used to substituting a lot of things for diabetic-friendly versions, then I can recommend these because you're likely used to compromise. If not, you probably won't like the taste or texture. To me, it was kind of similar to switching from whole milk to almond. Not really the same thing, but you get used to it because it's not that bad and it's healthier in the long run.

Not really my taste
Carrot cake tasted like a weirdly sweet omelet. I could not bring myself to try any of the others. Good try, but maybe more flavor testing?I did love the packaging, convenience, and simplicity, just...the taste. Not...not my favorite.

Not really healthy-causes stomach upset
Full of chemicals! After a few bites I am vilently sick!! They don't show you the ingredients but they are not clean! I mean, how hard is it!? Flour, dehydrated egg, salt, baking soda or powder?? But no! First ingredient is Allulose (untested sugar substitute) Cocoa powder processed with alkaili (isn't that caustic?) and monocalcium phosphate. One of these causes stomach upset. Damn the convenience! I'll make a mix that I can spoon into the cup when I want a treat. One that has good, all-natural ingredients and no chemicals.

Not Keto
These “keto” mug cakes, as prepared at home with an egg and a tablespoon of butter, turned out to contain 330 calories, 23 grams of carbs, and almost no fiber. They’re smaller than other mug cakes too. As a diabetic, I couldn’t eat more than a tiny sample of the chocolate cake. This had a spongy and pleasant texture but not an intense chocolate flavor. The product description is misleading.

Delicious with protein and no sugar
I’ve only tried the Orange Almond one so far, but I’m sold on these mixes! Delicious flavor. Allulose means there’s very little to no after taste. Texture is spot on for a breakfast muffin. I’ll definitely be buying again and trying other varieties.
