Yes, it is smelly for about a half day or so, so do not apply before an outdoor picnic! But it is awesome and gave my flowers and plants quite a boost. I find you can either add it to water or use it as a foliage feeder. Take a look at my plants! Sorry, they were not worth photographing a few weeks ago so I only have "after" pictures.

Great product! If you intend to use this on an organic veg garden, BE SURE that you buy the one that says For Organic Gardening on the front and has the OMRI logo on the label. There are other versions that are meant only for ornamentals and even say Not Intended For Organic Gardening.This stuff is dark, thick, and smelly. And it's one of the very best ways to deliver good, strong fertilizer. Sweet corn is always hungry (like a teenager), and really comes through when regularly dosed with this. Tomatoes, too! Some of the best flavor!

I use Alaska Fish Emulsion Fertilizer on EVERYTHING growing in my yard. The results are phenomenal! My roses are blooming like nobody's business and my vegetable are producing more than I ever dreamed they could. It is very easy to use and the results are pretty fast. I apply this fertilizer every three weeks - and my yard has never had so many flowers and veggies.

I have a plot in our community garden. This is my first year to try it. Since we are required to keep everything organic, it was recommended that we use fish emulsion as a fertilizer. In fact, the only fertilizer we are allowed is manure and fish emulsion. I followed the directions on the container and used the fish emulsion early in the spring and throughout the early part of summer. My garden flourished. I was stunned that something non-chemical in nature would produce such wonderful results. Plus it was my first time to have a garden and I had no experience with vegetables. I would recommend this product for both organic and non-organic gardens. For flowers and for vegetables. This product is highly concentrated and a little goes a long way. I bought a gallon and had plenty for the summer.

This stuff is thick and just putrid smelling, but my plants seem to love it, exact measuring isn't required and the smell dissipates before too long. I's super gross, but if you're looking into buying this stuff you clearly care enough about your plants to overcome the obstacles associated with its use. I can't say I've noticed a huge difference between this brand and any other that I've tried, but this certainly is, at the very least, a good one.

This is an excellent product - you should see my yard! Tons and tons of flowers. Sadly, it does not travel well. I ordered it three times. Two times the post office turned it back because it came open. The third time they delivered it, but it had opened up in transit. It is truly sad because I love what this stuff does for my garden. I've got many years of gardening experience, and this is the best fertilizer I've ever found. A mail delivery person coming onto my property last week said to me "I feel like I've entered heaven!"

The best natural fertilizer. This stuff is awesome and works fantastic. It is so easy to use. I use it on all my flowering plants, my blueberries, lime tree, lemon tree, fig tree. Flowers, hydrangeas, gardenias. It makes everything bloom and grow really nicely without making the bush/tree root bound at all. It does have a smell, but in a few hours that is gone.

We have 28 organic apple trees that are 34 years old. They have never been fed and were low in production so we opted to use this. We used it twice and had the most outstanding crop of huge apples!!! Even with a nip in the temperature causing some loss, we still had a huge, beautiful crop. We had more red apples than ever....in all these years and the granny smith apples were the size of grapefruit!!! We will surely use it again next year......I cannot recommend this enough!!!!!
