AUTOUTLET Door Handle Carrier For X5 E53 Inner Front Right Driver Side, OEM 5121824361

My dad was looking in breakers yards for a replacement door handle.The passenger side broke last year and cost over €80 for a geniune replacement that still has issues.Drivers door then broke recently and can't fault this replacement especially for the price. Product comes 18 months warranty.

Arrived on time just make a note that you have to file down where the handle goes in I fitted it straight away no problem then when it was all back together and I tried it door wouldn’t open had to strip it all down again and took some time to realise the wire cable on the new part is too long so swapped it for the old one works perfectly now wasted 2hours trying to figure it out thanks

Didn’t expect to be carrying out modifications to get this part to fit! Poor finishing after casting meant I had to find out a couple of lips to get the handle in and then I needed to modify the locking screw hole to be able to get the allen bolt in the lock.Due to the lips on that I needed to file down they damaged the handle and now I need to get a replacement as the plastic is now deformed.Fair to say I wont be purchasing from this seller again and wouldn’t recommend anyone to buy this part.

Woohoo great price and good quality easy to fit and my door is back to normal. Previously bought a door handle carrier from another provider and it lasted two weeks. I am really pleased with this one

The part was listed as a genuine BMW part. However it needed a lot of filing and fettling before it would operate. Even then the appearance of the external handle,was not in line. I would not buy another. I'd rather pay a little more and use the main dealer.

It needed a little bit of sanding, but after fitted perfectly.
