I never review products but I LOVE this one so I decided leave a quick one. f you are a black woman with natural hair, this is a perfect product for you. I use it for co-wash sets. It's natural heat so you don't have to worry about damage. Just pop it in the microwave and you are all set. I highly recommend this product.

I read the reviews on this, most saying that the cap was too small and the material was uncomfortable. I ignored the reviews and purchased anywayz. The reviews were right in this instance. I have a small if not "normal" sized head but my hair is mid length down my back. With this cap i would have to choose whether or not i want to deep condition the front of my hair or the back. The material where the band is is extremely uncomfortable, not bearable at all. The cap itself is pretty heavy. I was trying to avoid paying $30 for the Hot Head thermal cap, but i guess i will have to break down and get it.

I purchased this despite others reviews that it burst in their microwave, I thought maybe they had a bad batch and I would get lucky. I made sure to never go past the recommended time, and i actually only heated it 1 time. waste of $ but NOPE! Just don't order this. the gel is bound to burst out of it. there are a few others out there without the gel, give those a try.

I am extremely pleased with this product. As a women of color who has transitioned from chemically-used products on my hair to going natural, this deep conditioning heat cap is wonderful. When I give myself treatments, I am no longer tethered to my spot as I was with my previous cap, by the electric cord. I can walk around and complete other tasks, while my hair gets the conditioning it needs. This is cap is the best, I recommend it to anyone who gets deep conditioning treatments

Heavier than I expected but it works great. Had to microwave for 2 min. Stopping it every 15 seconds to move the gel around but it was great and held the heat for a good 35 min.

I just received my product and have used it once. So far I like it. I've read some other reviews that say it's too heavy or it fits too snug. I didn't have that problem. My only complaint is that it didn't stay hot for as long as I'd like. I warmed it for 90 sec in the microwave. It stayed warm for about 15min. When I felt it cooling off I just re-heated for another 90 sec so I could wear my deep conditioner for the full 30mins. Not a huge deal really. Overall a nice product for the price. I would recommend buying it. ** (I paid for this product with my own $, this review is my honest opinion)

This cap helped soften and moisturize my hair! Many people wrote reviews on how the gel cap exploded. I only used it once, but seeing these reviews made me more cautious on how long I put the cap in the microwave. I put it in for 60 seconds but in two intervals of 30 seconds each and not all at once. The cap heated up fine and I had no problems. Overall, pretty solid tool for deep conditioning! (P.S. I used the Not Your Mother’s Naturals Green Apple and Matcha Butter Deep Conditioning Masque, it’s amazing for hydration and definition!!)

A great heating cap though the band is quite thick and tight which had really hurt your ears after a while.
